Good morning Brutus Monroe fans! I am so excited to share this weeks project with you!!
The stamp set I used for this project is Butterfly Sentiments. I love the variety
of butterflies you get with this set. The sentiments are fantastic, you can make
so many variations with "YOU"!!
Follow along to see how I created this card.
I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Brutus Monroe's
Round Acrylic Block (2.75"). Colored them using Spectrum Noir markers
PP3, BP2, BT2, BT4, LV1, LV2 and OR1.
I then hand cut the butterflies out. Then, layered them on top of each other, only
glueing the center together to allow the wings to fold out and give the 3D effect.
Using a standard A-2 card, I cut two rectangles to create the layered base.
After inking the edges, I layered the bases for the card, and then attached
the butterflies. I then stamped the "YOU ARE AMAZING" sentiment on the front
using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
