Hello my crafty friends! It's Heather and I'm bringing you a simple birthday card.
Supplies:
The first step was using my die cut and cutting out the frame that would be the center of my card.
Using the flower from the what a
Wonderful World stamp set and the Brutus|Monroe
Locomotive ink I did a random stamp on the frame, leaving room for me to add the Happy Birthday to you sentiment from the
Botanical Sentiment l stamp set.
I used both the Brutus Monroe
Cornflower and
Oz ink to watercolor the flowers.
After water coloring and allowing the inks to dry I taped down the frame onto the card base. I than stamped using the embossing ink to complete the flowers on the base. I added a couple other flowers on the card base. Once you have done this I than embossed using the Brutus Monroe
Sterling embossing powder.
Using my wink of stella clear glitter pen I went over the sentiment and flowers to add extra glitz! I than added foam dots to the back of the frame and adhered the frame to the card base so that the flowers embossed flowers would line up with the water colored flowers.
I hope you all enjoyed this card tutorial. Have a wonderful crafty weekend!
