So many October Birthday's!

Hello crafty friends! This is Melynda bringing you a fast Birthday gift bag.  I don't know about you, but October is a HUGE month for birthdays in my house.  Fast, easy, yet very personal is the name of the game!

Supplies:
Brutus Monroe Ink pads in Oz and Locomotive and the Butterfly Sentiments stamp set.  Small kraft gift bag, White cardstock, Chameleon Color Tones Ink pens in BG4, PK3, RD4, YO3, and BL3.  Recollections die cut shape, sparkle brad, and yellow doily ribbon plus black Karen Foster Scrappers Floss.

To begin I used the Oz stamp pad to stamp the butterfly on white cardstock.  While that was drying I used the Locomotive stamp pad to stamp the “Happy Birthday to” sentiment and the Oz stamp pad to stamp the “You” on the kraft gift bag.

Once my butterfly was dry, I used my Chameleon Ink pens to color her in being careful to blend well.  After cutting my butterfly out, I desperately wished I had a die set to do this step for me! I wrapped my gift bag in pretty yellow doily like ribbon securing with a bit of glue.  I glued my giant flower die cut directly on top of the joined pieces of ribbon for a seamless and polished look.

I attached my cut out butterfly to the die cut using a large sparkly brad and a bit of glue to make sure the body stayed down while the wings were free to fly.

Happy Fall crafting my friends!
