Happy New Year my crafty friends! With Christmas behind us it's time to start preparing our Valentine love notes.
Supplies Used:
5x5 craft card base, white cardstock, pink cardstock,
Brutus Monroe Craft Glue, Brutus Monroe
Rouge Ink, Brutus Monroe
Many Thanks stamp set,
Brutus Monroe January Stamp Club, Brutus Monroe
Round Acrylic Block, sparkle washi tape, die cut, rhinestone, and pop dots.
First step was creating the heart pattern on my white card stock. This card stock was 5"x 2.75". Using the
Rouge ink and the heart from the
Many Thanks stamp set I created the random pattern. In order to get the lighter shades of the rouge I did a second and third stamp of the heart before reapplying ink. I than glued the card stock to the card base, and added the sparkle washi tape.
Next stamp the lips onto another piece of white cardstock and fussy cut the lips out. Using a cuttlebug I cut out the decorative shape in the pink cardstock. Using pop dots I applied to the back of the lips, and attached to the pink cardstock. Apply pop dots to the back of the pink card stock and attach to the card base. Finalize your card with gluing down a rhinestone above the lips and stamping our sealed with a kiss sentiment.
Hope everyone enjoyed this card tutorial and that you are looking forward to creating your own valentines day love notes. Happy Crafting!
