A Little Spring & Sunshine with Jess
Hey friends!
It's Jess and I'm excited to be sharing a bright and shiny card with you today. I don't know about you, but we've been having a ton of super gloomy and rainy days lately, so I'm ready for some sunshine! Bring on the Spring weather!
For this card, I started off with an older Stamp of the Month set. It has this gorgeous flower and the sentiment 'you are my sunshine.' So cute! I stamped out the background in black ink and then used Copic markers to 'dot color' them. I also stamped 'smile' repeatedly from the 'True Love - Suitcase' set.
I cut a strip of black card stock to layer over the card front. On this piece, I used Alabaster Embossing Powder to heat set the sentiment. I tied on a bright yellow ribbon to bright it up.
I mounted my card on foam tape for some added dimension and interest. I finished off the card with a few clear sequins!
