A Quick Easter Card!
Happy Valentine's Day friends! It may be valentine's day, but over here, I am getting ready for Easter! Today I am introducing you to a quick and easy easter card that can grace any Easter basket! Let's get started.
I started this quick Easter card by using the BUNNY HUGS (BRU7865) stamp. This cute and fun stamp has everything that you need for all your easter projects. I repeatedly stamped on the page using the RAVEN ink (BRU5427). I only used one of the bunnies on my card, however I stamped a few extra for other projects. Once done, I colored the bunnies, sheep and flowers in with aqua pigments. I fussy cut the Easter critters out, however, you can use the dies (BRU7933) that coordinate with the stamps.
Next, I made the background for the card. I used Chroma Mists in coral (BRU7353) and bumblebee yellow (BRU3928) to make the background. It is really simple, I just spritzed a bit onto my card and voila, an instant background and let it dry.
Once dried, I stamped a few images from the BUNNY HUGS stamp set using the RAVEN ink. I kept them in the black outline as I wanted to make the bunny the star of my show, er.... card. I then popped the bunny up using pop dots from my stash. The bunny is now the highlight.
I finished the card by drawing a dashed line from the bunny to the butterfly. I then sprinkled a few of the BUNNY HUGS SEQUINS (BRU8477) around the card for dimension and this quick and easy Easter card is ready to go! Happy Easter everyone.
