Aqua Pigment background on a 12x12 layout
Good evening everyone! Today I thought it would be fun to create a mixed media background using the Aqua Pigments in fun primary colors.
I started off with a white 12x12 cardstock used the packaging technique to smoosh the Aqua pigments onto the paper. The key is to let each color dry before applying the next layer. These colors (in random order) red violet, blue violet, yellow, yellow orange, yellow green, and blue green.
I then used some older stamps of the month and raven detail ink to apply a grungy look over the now completely dryer Aqua pigments.
At this point it needed a little metallic look so I splattered and dropped some Aqua pigment in penny onto the page. The the best part taking all these fun hearts with cute sayings from the Love You More Stamp set and added more mixed media to the background.a few embellishments and a photo and this layout is done. The Aqua pigments really did make this layout stunning! A few close ups before I go! See you all next week for another project with the fabulous Brutus Monroe products.
