August 2016 Sneak Peek-Owls
Hi,
I am happy to be able to give you a sneak peek of two stamp sets releasing August 17th. The card today is showcasing the owls and the feathers and bird cages stamp sets.
I used the following supplies:
Owl stamp set from Brutus Monroe
Feather stamps from the BM feathers and bird cages stamp set
Rouge and Phonebook chalk ink
Alabaster and Clear BM embossing powder
embossing ink
First I stamped owls, colored them in, then cut them out
Next I cut a round die cut and blended rouge and Phonebook chalk ink to achieve the background
The next step was to stamp the sentiment and feathers embossing with alabaster and clear embossing powder on the card base (in my case I decided to make it a layer due to the dark color so I could write in card)
Finally I used pop dots to make the Owls stand out.
