Autumn Sunrise

Autumn Sunrise

Hello Crafty friends!

Sharna here with some card inspiration for you. I was instantly in love with this Autumn Sunrise stamp set. The large sentiments and the size of the leaves were just perfect.

I started this card with a bright blue cardstock base which I then ink blended around the edges with chipped sapphire distess ink. To darken the edges further I used some black soot as well, very sparingly. Once the ink dried I splattered the whole panel with gold watercolor.

For the leaves I did some copic coloring. I kept my darkest colors just to the veins in the leaves and let the lightest color be on the very edges.

Copics: R29, 27 & 24; YR07, 04, & 02; Y38, 35 & YR31; Y13, 11 & 00; YG67, 63 & 61.

Lastly I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and popped it up on foam tape to stand out against the leaves which are glued directly to the card base. I tried to make none of the same color of leaves were directly next to each other and three leaves of each color.

Thank you for stopping by!
