Be Brave
Who likes to art journal? Well this post is for you. Nothing is more liberating then to know you can create art and know there are no mistakes. Let your imagination flow!
I am using Dylusion paint to create my background, blending three different colors to create a mood. Next, I used three different stencils to add texture and dimension to the page. I then pened lines randomly around the page. To these lines I added more "doodles" and colored the doodles in black and white. I added the sentiment from die cut letters and pened around them in white ink.
To complete my page I stamped the cat from the Brutus Monroe Rock Star Pets stamp set. I colored him in using Copic markers, fussy cut him out and glued him on the page. Finished it off by outlining the cat in white. Thus creating my own ending!
I hope this post inspires some of you to try art journaling. It is a really freeing experience with no rules, no wrong ways, only limit is your own imagination.
Enjoy.
