Birthday Bears Mini Tags

Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed all the new stamps sets that were revealed last week. The Inspiration Team had so many great projects that showed off what is possible to do with stamps! I thought today I would go ahead and revisit one of my projects from last week to give you a better idea of how I created it. 

Using the Birthday Bears stamp set, I created these three little tags that you could use for birthdays or just any time in general! I hand cut these tags from some Canvas Corp Ivory cardstock, then created a background on each one. This first background I used a heart stencil and some black embossing paste for create that fun, textured heart pattern. Then, I stamped out the bunny using some Brutus Monroe Raven Black Detail Ink, and colored in the image with watercolor pencils. I adhered the fussy-cut bunny to a die cut circle, and used some Zest Surface Ink to color the circle and the "hello" die cut sentiment. Then, I made a cute little ribbon embellishment by cutting some pieces of ribbon and washi tape, stapling them together, and then adding some folded cardstock over the top. 

For this second tag, I used another heart stencil along with some more black embossing paste. Then, I stamped the birds from the Birthday Bears stamp set right onto the ivory cardstock and colored them in with watercolor pencils. I added some color to the "hello" die using Sea Surface Ink, and then added another ribbon embellishment to this tag, as well. 

This last tag is so much fun and probably my favorite one! The background is made with the Brutus Monroe Paint Spots stencil and some more Zest Surface Ink. I adhered another die cut circle over to the left side, and then adhered the little bear over that. The bear is also colored with watercolor pencils. 

I stamped one of the sentiments off to the side with some Raven Black Detail Ink and then added some more ribbon embellishments.
