Birthday Cat (Cat Life)
Here we are again, crafting with our new stamp sets from Brutus Monroe. I love being able to take a focal stamp from Brutus Monroe and add elements to the card from my stash of products. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love cats and creating with cat stamps. If you are not already a cat lover maybe using this Brutus Monroe Cat Life stamp set will convert you.
I started this card by filling a conversation balloon with the sentiment from the Cat Life stamp set. I stamped and colored with StyleFile markers my favorite cat from the set and cut it out.
I created a background by ink blending on a small square and adding die cuts of grassy hill sides and a die cut of a pine tree. Next, I layered pieces using some foam tape and decided to add the ball of yarn from the stamp set to give the kitty something to share with his birthday friend.
I added a birthday sentiment to the card base and added a solid layer under the blended layer. This was an easy and cute birthday card for all ages.
