For this weeks project I wanted to think outside of the box. These does are simply gorgeous by themselves for a card front, however, I asked myself how else could I use this? Well, today I created a mixed media tag. I used my geli plate and acrylic paints to create the background on a medium sized tag. I cut the Cutting Die of the Month once with white card stock and cut it in half vertically. The right half I glued directly to the tag and left it white. The left half I water colored using Aqua Pigments. Once dry, I cut it apart and glued the pieces over the white half. I kept them around where it originally would have been, but scattered the greenery. I had a few gaps of white areas, so I used enamel dots from my stash to fill those areas in. Lastly l, I used two different alphas for my title “Bloom and Grow.”
