Bright Cartoon Copic Coloring
Hi there! Today's video for Brutus Monroe will show you how to add googly eyes, color in stamps like cartoons, and add your own sketching on the images. I love the cartoon style of these stamps and I am excited to show you how to make these wonky reindeer come to life! :)
I started out by stamping down all of the reindeer from the Oh, Deer stamp set using Copic friendly ink. Then, I colored all of the images using a variety of different Copic marker shades (the video shows exactly how to color in the reindeer). You can even add dots and texture using a Copic Blender Pen or a white gel pen to add a more cartoony effect.
After coloring, I added a border around the images to make them look like comic superheroes using three shades of Copic markers. If you want to even go a bit further with the comic look, use some black pens to add your own spin on the stamps.
Then, I cut out the images and added some fun googly eyes to add some more wonky features to the deer. I used the sentiment "Oh Deer" and put it in the front deer's mouth. Finally, I added everything onto the card base using lots of foam tape to add some dimension.
