Brutus Monroe | Therm O Web Week

This week we are collaborating with Therm O Web to bring you some fun projects from both design teams! 

I created a shaker card today using one of the new foil colors Shattered Glass and one of their new Designer Toner Sheets Distressed Lines along with the From Paris with Love stamp set from Brutus Monroe.

First I cut the toner sheet down with my paper trimmer and cut a piece of the Shattered Glass foil slightly larger than my toner sheet. I place the foil shiny side up, placed them into my carrier sheet and ran through my laminator. 

Now I'm ready to make a frame for my shaker card. I used two rectangle dies, positioned them on Raven cardstock and used the new Purple Tape from Therm O Web.

Here's what my frame looks like after running it through my manual die cutting machine. I can use the extra piece for another project. 

I adhered the toner sheet to the frame with Brutus Monroe craft glue and added two layers of foam tape. Then used my powder tool to go around the edges of the foam tape to remove any static before adding the sequins. And then I assembled my card.

I heat embossed the Eiffel Tower with Raven embossing powder and cut it out with my Scan n Cut and popped it up with Therm O Web 3D Foam Squares. 

For the sentiment I used the Deco Foil PeelnStick Toner Sheets.

I cut a piece of the PeelnStick Toner Sheet slightly larger than my word die and cut the foil slightly larger than the toner sheet. I ran that through my laminator and then ran the word die through my manual die cutting machine. I find that's the easiest way.

I also created two other quick cards by simply adhering the Deco Foil Designer Toner Sheets once foiled straight on top of a card base! I used the new Brutus Monroe Decorative Die Cuts Beautiful Bows and some Acrylic Bubbles. To adhere the toner sheets I used the Therm O Web Tape Runner XL and you can't really see the adhesive at all! 

Here's a look at those cards. I used the Floral Sketch Toner Sheets with the new Wild Cherry and Jade foil. I really love the Jade on the Kraft cardstock!
