Bubble Wrap background
Friends,
I tried a new technique in creating this card. I used bubble wrap from a recent package I received to apply Ink to the card layer. I stamped three Brutus Monroe Surface Inks to the bubble wrap. I then spritzed the ink with Squeaky Clean and pressed the wrap to the card layer.
I then applied gesso to the bubble wrap and pressed it onto the card layer. This added texture and muted the ink colors.
I stamped the rose cluster and sentiment from the Botanical Banners stamp set. I cut out the images and colored.
Finally, I assembled all the pieces creating a soft feminine birthday card. I hope you like this bubble wrap background technique as much as I do and will try it too.
