Aqua pigments are so versatile and paired with our Aqua pigment Cardstock, you can't go wrong. Follow along with me as I use them for an ombre emboss resist card.
I lined up the hearts from the Love You More set in my stamping platform and stamped each row with Clear Embossing ink and heat embossed with Alabaster embossing powder. Once the row of hearts is set up in your stamping platform, you can move the cardstock to create the rows however you'd like.
Then I took some Alabaster Chroma Mist and mixed a few drops of Red Aqua Pigment into it. I wanted to create an ombre effect, so at first I made a lighter shade, painted it onto the card panel and wiped off the excess with a paper towel. Then I added a few more drops of the red Aqua Pigment, painted from the top down, and continued adding pigment until I had the look I wanted.
I just loved the sentiment from this set, so I wanted it to be the focal point. I stamped it in Raven Detail ink, along with the sundae and popped it up on the ombre panel. Don't forget that you can use the Chroma Mist/Aqua Pigment mixture to paint your images. I also added a few splatters of the Penny Aqua Pigment for some shine!
