Hello friends! I played with some new goodies from Brutus Monroe for fun and this layout was truly fun to make. I Love the colors and patterns in the Sweet Candy Paper Collection. It's perfect for Valentines Day projects or non-themed layouts!
I cut the pink hearts from patterned paper and then used foam squares to pop them off the page a bit. The sentiments across the hearts are from the Sweet Candy Conversation Clippings. So glad I picked these up. I just love how they make the hearts pop!
I stamped the Candy Trolly and gingerbread man onto white yardstick and then colored in the images using alcohol markers. Then, I fussy cut the images and mounted them at the bottom of the layout. Aren't these adorable!! LOVE the Sweet Candy Stamp Set. I almost didn't get it because I have soooo many stamps, but I needed it...:)
I used ink and a blending brush to color onto a piece of white cardstock and then cut it out using my Sizzix. This is such a tiny cut...I didn't want to try coloring the die cut after it was cut because it could tear...
I think the pink bow pulls the top of the layout together nicely! I used fabric-tac glue to glue the ribbon down.
These stamps make me so happy! Aren't they fun? I just had to find a way to use them on this layout. I'm very pleased with how this turned out.
What do you think? I love it. :) Thank you so much for visiting today! If you love the products used on this layout, most of it is available here at Brutus Monroe!
