Choose Kindness Florals

Hey everyone!
It's Jessica here. Today I'm sharing a simple floral card with some added sparkle! Have you seen the new Prism Sequins? My goodness they are gorgeous and shiny.
For this one I cut a piece of Alabaster card stock to 5inx7in. That way it was large enough to use my stamp positioning tool. Since this is such a large stamp and will cover an entire 4inx5.5in panel, I stamped it several times using Raven Detail ink to get a solid impression of the image.
This time I'm coloring with Copic markers.
The colors I used are:
B29, B26, B34, B41
G46, YG45, YG01
R05, R02, R12
Y35, W1
I love this bright blue and made it the focal color. I didn't want all of the flowers to be blue so I chose a few of the flowers and colored them in a orange color. Orange is opposite of blue on the color wheel and pairs nicely together. Such a easy way to pick colors if you get stuck.
The Kind Floral stamp set has some amazing sentiments but I was really drawn to the "Choose Kindness" one. Before I stamped it I used the Brutus Monroe Magic Powder bag to prep my panel. Then stamped the sentiment with clear embossign ink and covered it with Alabaster embossing powder. I knew the bright white of the Alabaster embossing powder would stand out beautifully on this busy floral panel.
I trimmed the Kind Floral panel down then adhered, to the backside, a small scrap of Sterling Glitter Stock to the top right hand corner. I used a boner folder and scoreboard to crease it so that it would fold over easily, using some dry adhesive to keep held down.
This panel is adhered to a Sidewalk card stock panel that is a slightly larger layering size and both of those are then attached to a Not Your Momma's card base.
I love the glitz that the Sterling Glitter Stock brings to this but I wanted to add a bit more pizzazz. The Prism Sequins in the green color accomplishes that bit of extra glitz to this card. I used three in the top left and bottom right of the floral panel, and glued them to spots on the leaves of the Kind Floral image. They blend in but flash beautifully when  caught in the light.
Alright you guys, that is it from me today!
Thank you so much for joining me!
Jessica Shier ❤
