Christmas Thank You
Hello there! It's Cassie here with another card for you today! First of all, Merry Christmas to all of our friends that celebrate Christmas! I decided now would be a great time to start working on those Thank You cards that I like to send after Christmas.
I started with a piece of Raven Cardstock that I cut down to 4" x 5 1/4". I then pulled out my Night Shift Aqua Pigments in the colors Purple, Green, and Blue. I used a 1/2" flat brush to paint the colors onto my panel.
I love the shimmer and you get when you shift your panel back and forth. It's such a beautiful look. The next step was to splatter some white paint all over my panel for snow. Next I stamped out my snowman from the Build a Snowman stamp set onto some white cardstock and colored him in with alcohol markers. I freehand cut a snowdrift and attached my snowman and the snowdrift to the black card panel.
I stamped my sentiment from the Tree of Thanks stamp set onto some Raven Cardstock using Embossing Ink. I sprinkled some Alabaster Embossing Powder on that and heated it until it was smooth and melted. I put some Craft Glue on the top of the snow and covered that with some Marshmallow Puff Embossing Powder. . .when you heat it, it puffs!I attached this to a Not Your Mama's Heavyweight Card Base, and attached some Purple Prism Sequins.
