City scene with deco foil background.
Hello friends, I have been in a foiling kick for the past couple of weeks and this time I chose to use my foil in a different, more unique way, at least for me.
There are several foiling sheets and toner sheets I haven’t even touched up to this point and I was “called” by this one for some reason. So, I got my laminator hot and ready cut a piece of my toner sheet to 4.25” X 5.5” and a similar size foil piece and ran them through my hot laminator.
When I saw the beautiful piece that I had just created by just running those two pieces of paper through my laminator I knew I wanted to do some kind of scene, so after looking at several different dies and stamps I knew I had to make this a city scene.
Unfortunately the buildings die is a discontinued piece from sweet stamp shop but the clouds and moon can be found here.
I just love, love the way this card turned out. The foil background looks like the night sky lit with the moon light.
Have you tried doing any foiling techniques lately? I can’t promise my next card will be something not foiling related because I have been really enjoying our foils but I guess we will see.
Until next time,
Luisana
