Coffee Makes Everything Better
Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Today I made a set of 4 x 4 coffee note cards from all of the coffee stamps! These were so much fun to make especially the size and they came together pretty easily! I used the Cozy Coffee stamp set, the Cup of Thanks, and the Got Pumpkin. The Cup of Thanks and Got Pumpkin stamps are on sale right now in the store, so it's a perfect time to pick those up.
For the note cards I used Neenah Solar White cardstock. I cut them at four inches and trimmed it off at eight inches and scored in the middle, so I was able to get two cards out of one sheet of paper. And the extra that was left over I stamped my images on them and used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut them out.
For my first card I used the Got Pumpkin stamp set and colored it in with Copic markers. For all of my cards I used Walnut Stain distress oxide ink and did some ink smooching for the background. I used a stitched square rectangle die and cut out the inked background and glued it to the note card. I stamped a sentiment from the Cozy Coffee stamp set and then popped the coffee cup up with foam squares. I added some Crystal bottle cap sequins to my card to embellish it.
For the second card I used the A Cup of Thanks stamp set. I masked the coffee mug so I could stamp the spoon inside of the cup. Then I ran the images through my Brother Scan n Cut. I love the way masking looks, then using the Scan n Cut! I used the sentiment that came with the stamp set. Then I glued the mug flat to the card and popped the macaroon on foams squares just over the mug. I added the Crystal Bottle Cap sequins to embellish the card.
For my third card I used the Cozy Coffee stamp set. I did some masking on this one as well. I stamped the cup on the left and then masked it, then stamped the card on right so they appear to be a couple. I colored these with Copic markers and then ran through my Brother scan n cut. I used a sentiment from the stamp, I thought was so appropriate, then I popped the cups up on foam squares. I added Crystal Bottle Cap sequins to embellish.
And here is my last card using the Cozy Coffee stamp set! These were so fun to create!
