Die Cut Hearts Valentine | Cards with Ashley
Hello everyone! It's Ashley here on the blog today sharing another Valentine's Day card. This card is very easy to create, but has a design that is sure to impress!
I started by taking an A2 size panel of Alabaster white cardstock and two heart dies. You can use any heart shaped dies you have in your stash, you just need two different but close in size hearts. Then you just put the hearts together and cut out a whole bunch of them from the panel.
Next I took a piece of glitterstock and cut it to be A2 size. I popped what was remaining of my Alabaster panel onto the glitterstock panel with foam tape. Then I took the smaller hearts that were cut out and popped them up in the space they were cut from. I left out the frame heart that is created from the two hearts being together. This leave a little peek-a-boo outline where you can see the sparkly glitterstock. I adhered the whole panel to a card base.
For the sentiment I used a stamp from the Botanical Banners stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with Rouge surface ink and then cut it down into a small strip. I popped that strip up onto one of the hearts on the card. To finish up I added a few clear sequins.
