DIY Wall Art

 Crafty Folks,

This is a super easy DIY project that anyone can do. I used the Spring and Summer shimmer chalk sprays from Brutus Monroe on the wonderful almost magical mistable paper from the Brutus Monroe Mixed Media paper pad. (If you haven't tried this mistable paper yet you should! I believe you will love it.)

I used the black Brutus Monroe Detail Ink on the stencil achieving what I think looks like a very artsy picture ready to hang on the wall.

This is another version of the same process with a different stencil.

Enjoy,

Adam

Adam, I really think you should frame this, it is a fabulous “artsy” picture that looks like you paid a nice amt for. I’ve been to San Francisco quite a bit & spent time at their art shows & street art sales & pictures like yours in a 5×7 aren’t cheep. Granted they use black acrylic to paint the head & didn’t use the awesome stencil you did ? but most people wouldn’t be able to tell the difference esp if it was in a frame. We all know how simple it was to make but who else will, esp with the gorgeous chalk spray colors you chose for the background. I have the MM paper pad but haven’t had a chance to use the mistables yet & have all the sprays but winter, ? since it’s out of stock but want to make something similar… Can you tell me where I can find the stencil you used? I ❤️ it!
