Eat Cake All Day

Hello friends, Its Chitra here today with a card for you all. A little different card using Therm O Web product along with Brutus Monroe Products.

I inked up this Brutus Monroe Topsy Cake stamp set, I stamped the image using Raven detail ink and colored using my markers and then cut it out using scissor. The sentiment is stamped on Sea cardstock using Embossing ink and heat embossed using Alabaster ultra fine embossing powder. For the wave background I placed the stencil directly over a top folded A2 white cardstock and applied a thick layer of Deco Foil transfer gel and left it to dry, this paste/gel turns transparent when dried completely and it looks like a acrylic embossing paste. Initially my plan was to add foil on top of it but the acrylic effect was too fun to cover up, so I left it as it is. I adhered the colored image and sentiment using Therm O web foam adhesive. I added few sequins for embellishment.

Here is a close up:

Hope you liked my clean and simle card. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to come back tomorrow for more foiled inspiration.

Hugs,
Chitra

I really like the background. Layers upon layers—it goes well with the multi-layered cake. Very cute.

I love the idea of leaving the deco foil transfer gel to dry and then not foiling. The effect is so clean and beautiful.
