Hi card making friends,
Today we are showcasing the wonderful Brutus Monroe embossing powder. This card is made with no ink, only embossing powder.
The Brutus Monroe store is having a great sale now and this would be an opportune time to stock up on the versatile and fun to use embossing powders along with anything else that may catch your eye when checking out the store.
This card was made by using the embossing ink on the edge of the layer one card stock. Then gold embossing powder was added to make the layer look as if it is gold card stock. Next the tropical leaves were stamped and embossed in gold on the layer two card stock. Some additional leaves were embossed and die/scan and cut to be layered up with dimensional foam to give the card some dimension. Finally, the sentiment was embossed onto a fishtail and added.
This simple yet elegant black and gold card was fun and shows how embossing powder can create exceptional cards.
