Enjoy the Little Things
Hello friends! Shannon here. I wanted to give a “new to me” fold a try. The corner flip card seemed like a good place to start. As far as fancy folds go, this one is pretty simple and a lot of fun!
Start with your basic A2 side fold card base. Now this is where things start to get interesting. Using a score board, line the folded edge against your corner add on piece (see photo).
Score 2 inches in. This leaves a “v” shape for the center of your card. I struggle a little with the score board and tool, If you do too watch the video to see how I work around it.
Using your bone folder, burnish along your scored lines.
Fold the triangle piece down the center of your card fold in.
Cut 3 pieces of coordinating pattern paper to 4 inches by 5 ½. I cheated in the measuring department here as well. I held the pattern paper where I wanted it (centered at the top or bottom and bent it over the scored section. Then I cut along the score line created on the pattern paper. (see video) Repeat this for the bottom section and the front panel.
I added the fun Round Rainbow die cuts
and the Choose You colored image to the front and added the sentiment.
I used the boots from the Splish Splash set on the inside. I adhered them to the bottom portion of the triangle. I used the cute little hearts and raindrops from the Choose You set to the bottom panel.
To see how it all came together see the video here.
