Fall Inspiration Box | Night Scene

Hello crafty friends, today I'm back on the blog to share another card. I used Brutus Monroe inks to create this background.

I used stamping mask paper to help create my background. I used a circle die cut to cut out the middle of the masking paper, and place it in the middle of my watercolor paper. I began with Sea chalk ink around the circle blending it outward, then came in with Sea Glass Gradient ink and continued from there blending outwards more. On the edges I used Locomotive chalk ink for a darker background. Then removing the circle mask, I began to blend in the middle with Speckled Egg moving out, changing to Sea again. Then I decided I really wasn't done. I stamped in the tress from the Fall Inspiration Box in the Raven Detail Ink. Then grabbing the Alabaster to create a moon look in the middle of the card. Using the edges of my distress foam pad I created circular patterns all around the moon and trees. I splattered correction fluid to give it some stars and added gold dots with a Uni-Ball impact gel pen. The sentiment was stamped with Alabaster Pigment ink, and heat embossed with B|M Alabaster embossing powder. I distress the edges of the watercolor paper, curled the corners inward and added a scalloped border. Popped it up with dimensional foam tape and adhered it to navy blue cardstock.

And whew, that is it! Totally a blast though!
