Falling into Autumn
Hi and welcome back, Joy here with a few fall cards to share with you from Brutus Monroe. I'm really trying to hang on to the last few day of summer, but I'm not going to lie I'm starting to crave pumpkin spiced lattes, and cooler, crisp weather. Both cards I'm sharing I think will spark the inner you love for the bright Autumn colors that are in our near future. I used a few stamp sets today Farm House Friends, Falliday, Plaid Piece, and Super Sentimental. ]Joy here with a few fall cards to share with you. I'm really trying to hang on to the last few day of summer, but I'm not going to lie I'm starting to crave pumpkin spiced lattes, and cooler, crisp weather. Both cards I'm sharing I think will spark the inner you that loves the bright Autumn colors in our near future. My first card is a 6 inch square card, because I adore this size card. I used the Plaid Piece stamp to make the focal point, by stamping it in two colors, and the die cut it using the Foundations Circle dies. The truck from Farmhouse Friends was colored with alcohol markers and popped up using foam tape. Do you love the background paper, well it's a downloadable called Autumn Harvest. I stamped the thankful for you sentiment using my Misti, Super Sentimental stamp set, and Raven Detail ink and then formed a banner. To add dimension and interest, I used my cutting machine and pre-loaded leaf templates and inked them using Simon Hurley inks . I made a simple jute bow to add a bit of embellishment and called it done!
