This project came about because I wanted to play with some feathers in an ornament. Of course the Angel Wings set is perfect for this project. My goal was to create a stand for the ornament. Being clever and creative I figured out how to up cycle a bottle and use that as my base for this project.

Using the saying from Angel Wings I embossed in gold ink onto a piece of the Mixed Media paper. Next using gold embossing powder went around the edges of two of the layers of paper. I didn't have any gold foil paper for this project so I made my own.

The layers were adhered with white craft glue and then adhered to the bottle with heavy carpet tape.

Taking a piece of seam binding and placing it into a shallow box I sprayed with the Summer Chalk Shimmer spray - Zest and then a gold Tattered Angels Glimmer mist. The ribbon was set aside to dry.

Filled the bottle and the ornament with feathers and glitter. I just love the sparkle glitter gives to a project. Putting glitter into a container insures that glitter won't escape all over your home.

Craft pearls on a string were used to decorate the bottle and the ornament. I use hot glue to adhere the pearls, be careful that glue can be very hot!

A hole was drilled in the lid of the bottle. Picking up a piece of brass rod from the hardware store, my husband helped me bend a hook with pliers. I then bent the wire around a container to create the hook. This was then inserted into the bottle.

Made bows out of the ribbon and attached to the ornament and bottle.
