February Stamp Club is Black and White

The February Stamp Club is Black and White with a touch of pink.

Linda here to share the Stamp Club set this month. This set is super cute! Loving the Just Keep Pedaling with Bicycle. The bicycle is the perfect size for making quick greeting cards.

For today's project I decided to keep it simple. Using a few scraps of black and white paper in my stash to make a very elegant but fun card.

Stamp the February Stamp Club Bicycle with Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven on a piece of white card stock measuring 3.5 in. x 2.5 in. Mat with black a slightly .125 larger than the white piece.

Cut a black piece of card stock at 4.20 in. x 5.45. For the next layer cut white card stock at 4.12 in x 5.35 in. Adhere to a standard A2 greeting card in portrait view.

On the white card stamp Just Keep pedaling with Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven in the lower right corner.

For the striped layer, cut black card stock at 4.12 in x 3.15 in.Then cut striped scrapbook paper at 4.12 in. x 3 in. Adhere about .75 in. from the top of the card. Of course if you are trying to use up scraps like me cut it to the size of paper that you have on hand. That is really what I did, I just wanted to share the measurements of the papers in case you wanted to make yours like mine.

Time to adhere the bicycle layer to the black mat, then onto the card.

The card needed a bit of color and I wanted this to be quick and simple. Prima Flowers were the perfect answer. Apply a little glue of your choice to a few flowers over the basket on the bicycle. Use glitter glue in the centers of the flowers. This gives a little sparkle to the card.

A black bow was tied out of sheer ribbon and adhered with a glue dot in the upper right corner.
