February Stamp Club- Just Keep Pedaling
Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to show you February's Stamp for Stamp Club! I am in love with this little bicycle image and the cute sentiments that go along with it. I stamped this bike on a card for today's post but I would also love to use this stamp in my planner or try to stamp it on some fabric for a fun bicycle print. So many ideas!
For this card, I started by cutting out a heart shape from white cardstock and also from vellum using my Cricut. On the cardstock heart, I blended on some Rouge Chalk Ink to give it color, and then grabbed my Polka Stencil and Alabaster White Pigment Ink and add some white polka dots. Then, on the vellum heart, I stamped the bicycle stamp and then embossed it in gold using Brutus Monroe's Gilded powder. I love this gold embossing powder. It just shines!
Then I set my hearts aside to work on the card base. I cut out a white piece of cardstock and cut the top of it on a curve. I don't have a curved die for this so I just traced along a plate and cut along the line. Then I ran the curved panel through my Sizzix with a floral embossing folder to add the raised flowers.
The blue paper behind is just a piece that I had in my scrap bin and I liked the colors together so I went ahead and added that to the top, and stamped some hearts and also embossed them in gold.
I then added the heart in the front and center using some foam adhesive to pop it up. I tucked a few washi tape flags behind the heart on the left side for more interest. The gold glittery washi tape went well with all the gold embossing on the card.
For the sentiment, I just inked it up with some Raven Detail Ink and stamped it along the heart on the right side. Its a simple and sweet card that you could send off to a friend or loved one to brighten their day or offer some encouragement.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope I've given you a good look at February's Stamp Club stamp and inspired you to "Create Your Own Ending!"
Until next time,
Marie Nicole
