First Day of School Layout
There are some great stamps coming to the shop on September 30 for back to school! I created this layout by first stamping the Library Backgound stamp and coloring it in with the Stylefile markers. I cut it with the Circle Foundation dies and inked the edges on two of the circles. Next, I created the chalkboard from the Tina's Classroom Charity set wtih Jurassic Surface ink and Raven Detail Ink. I colored in the wood with the Stylefile markers and stamped the sentiment. I used a white marker to add the grade and school. I then stamped a few of the accent stamps from the set and used the circle foundation dies to cut them out and inked the edges. I layered it all on a pattern paper that I used the Chevron Stencil on in random spots making sure to add a basketball since it is my son's sport.
I really am enjoying these new stamp sets. Since my son is in high school it can be challenging to find age appropriate school type stamps. These are great for high schoolers!
Make sure you visit the Brutus Monroe store for all the supplies on Sept 30:
