Hi everyone! It is Verity here again from Pretty Little Button, so good to be back up on the blog again. I hope you had a fabulous Christmas surrounded by all your family and love ones. Now that Christmas has passed, you will be needing to send out some Thank you cards for all the lovely presents your received. And you are just in luck as I have created this lovely bright and floral Thank you Notelet. So read on and find out how you can make one too!
Floral Thank You Notelet details:
First of all, I stamped the Heart Lace Background stamp onto vellum in embossing ink with a stamp platform. I used a stamp platform just in case I didn't get a perfect stamp first time, but your can do it without. I cover the whole background in white embossing powder and heat set.
I trimmed down and scored a piece of Lunch Bag surface card-stock to form a 4"1/2 x 4 1/2 square notelet. Using a Coral pink card stock from my stash I, I die cut a square "1/4 smaller and than base and foam mounted this onto the card. I then die cut another square "1/4 smaller than the coloured card-stock from my vellum background. As this quite a detailed background, I could hide adhesive on the back of the vellum.
I stamped the floral bouquet from the 'Mom's Flowers' Stamp set onto matching card-stock and heat embossed in white. I used a small selection of coloured pencils to bring out the flowers in the stamp. I fussy cut out the bouquet and foam mounted onto the panel.
To add the sentiment, I heat embossed the 'Thank you' from the stamp set in Raven black embossing powder and adhered to the front. Lastly I added some iridescent sequins to the front which picked to the colours of the flowers.
