Welcome, back! Joy here today to share a couple of cards using the June Die of the Month, called Flower Burst! This is the perfect card front for your summer creating! I have used it in 3 ways, and can't wait to show you as they are all very different from one another!
For two of the cards, I used the die as you normally would, but for the black and neon card, I used it as a stencil. I love products that give you diversity and the capability to stretch your stash! You will find that the first card was die cut using Alabaster and matted on Raven card stock to get the classic white/red/black background. The new velveteen chroma glazes were used on the fun black card. For that one I smoothed the glazes in Lima Bean, Happy Heather, and Pink Flamingo on through the die. I just love how the velveteen glazes are matte and show up on black paper!!! For my third and final card I used an aqua pigment panel and ink smooshed Simon Hurley Inks in the colors, Crown Me, Prom Queen, and Remember me. After thoroughly drying it with a heat tool, I then die cut the panel. All of the sentiments have been stamped using my Misti stamping tool and Raven Detail ink and came from Super Sentimental and Extra Sentimental stamp sets. So fun, but really quick and simple. I hope you give it a try!
