Flower Pot Pop Up Card
Hey Friends,
It is that time of the week were we get to mix and match our products from Brutus Monroe and Karen Burniston Dies. The front of this card is an elegant eclipse card front using the Baroque Background stamp from Brutus Monroe. The inside is a surprise using both Brutus Monroe die and Karen Burniston dies.
The Baroque background was stamped using Phonebook Surface Ink. The sentiment was die cut out of this background and attached using foam dots. To add more dimension the edge was die cut to create the decorative edge. Add a few sequins and a bumble bee embellishment from Brutus Monroe and what a great card front all on its own. Now onto the interior........
We used the Karen Burniston step by step video instructions to create this breath taking flower pot pop-up card center. Karen's instructions make this complicated and beautiful flower arrangement easy to create. The hardest part is to decide when to stop adding flowers.
This flower pot is surrounded by the beautiful Brutus Monroe Jennifer Mandala die cut from the Brutus Monroe Mixed Elements Paper Pad (marble). This mandala resembles a doily and makes an excellent grounding element on the wood grain embossed paper. Additional lattice dies and additional flowers are used to complete the interior of the card. The sentiment was embossed in Alabaster from Brutus Monroe. (Bumble Bees are hiding within the flower arrangement, can you find them?)
This picture gives you a better view of the pot. It was decorated with the same marble paper from which the mandala was cut. the layered pot decorations were cut using dies included with the Flower Pot Pop-Up die set.
We hope you have enjoyed viewing the Brutus Monroe/Karen Burniston mash up. Keep watching the Brutus Monroe blog for more projects made with Brutus Monroe and other companies.
Hope you will share your creations with us at Brutus Monroe Facebook Fan Page.
