Foiled card with the die of the month
Hello Monroenettes!
Welcome to a Monday blog by Luisana.
This week I bring you a super easy and fast card, actually two, using our die of the month, some foil and a foiling machine.
To make this card I used my die of the month as a stencil to get the design to adhere to the paper using a Gemini foil press machine. It was very simple.
Follow the instructions for your machine, whether you own a foil press or spellbinders glimmer machine, the process is the same.
Once my foil was transferred to the paper, I just trimmed the excess off the sides and adhered the card to a white precut base. I foiled a sentiment using the same exact technique and cut it to be the size I wanted it with fish tails on one end.
For the second card I did the same steps but i used the negative part of the foil so it didn’t go to waste. I cut a hexagon from a Gina Marie Designs ser for the sentiment and propped it on the side of the card using foam tape.
I also adhered this card to a white precut card base.
That is it for this week’s cards for me. I hope I was able to inspire you to create something pretty today.
Until next week.
