Fall place cards
Hi gang,
With Thanksgiving fast approaching, it is time to be thinking about the big dinner and where will everyone sit. I decided to make small framed art as place cards for the big meal. I have combined elements from two Brutus Monroe stamp sets to do this. I used Autumn Greetings and Autumn Thanks.
I made the 3-D frames using a die cut from wood grain paper. The back drop is dark blue burlap from the Brutus Monroe Mixed Elements paper stack. Next I used a die cut of a fence from Alabaster paper. Nuts, wheat and pumpkin came from the Autumn Thanks stamp set and the scarecrow came from the Autumn Greetings stamp set. I colored all the pieces using the Style File markers, then cut them out. I will add the guests' names to small banners to be added to the place card once the guest list is complete. The guest will be encouraged to take home their small piece of art.
