Grayscale succulent border card.

Hello friends,

Luisana here once again showing you another awesome card using Brutus Monroe products.

For this card I felt inspired, once again, by this incredible succulent border from the recent release. I have made a card coloring each element with traditional colors but I had this crazy idea in my head about making it grayscale and with gold embossing.

I’ll admit, I was nervous to put my idea into paper as I didn’t know how it was going to work out in the end, but I am so glad I stuck with it.

I actually made a live video over at my page where I show exactly what I did with everything, step by step.

In a nutshell I used Brutus Monroe embossing ink and Brutus Monroe embossing powder in Gilded and then I colored every single petal using a combination of warm copics in 1-3-5-7.

I adore the way this card turned out. It looks so elegant and exactly how I had pictured it in my head.

Thank you for joining me once again this week and I hope to see you all on Wednesday for our weekly hop.

Amazing! I would have never thought to do that in those colors. You thought outside of the box and it is beautiful, thank you for sharing. Another stamp I “ need”!
