Marie Nicole here again! Last week I shared with you the Spooky Selfie stamp from Brutus Monroe's Carson Collection. This week I'm sharing this amazing stamp from the same collection.
I started by stamping the image on a piece of vellum. I used black ink and then sprinkled on some clear embossing powder. After I hit it with my heat tool I had this wonderful black embossed image on my vellum.
Now, I also wanted my vellum to look a little aged, so I held my heat tool very close and let the paper start to burn. I did this around most the edges. I just love that burnt distressed look that it left. I think it goes well with the overall theme of the card.
Here's a closeup of those burnt edges:
I then adhered the vellum to the panel that I colored with inks, and took that whole panel and mounted it on a black cardstock card base. To finish it off, I took some Canvas Corp Jute Cord and just added a little jute bow. Bows can be spooky, right?
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and Happy Crafting!
