Happy Botday- August Stamp Club
The little Stamp Club image for August is super cute! It's this little robot along with a few fun sentiments. I knew I wanted to stamp and fussy cut this little guy as soon as I saw him! I stamped him out several times and practiced coloring him. Then, I went to work on my card.
I stamped the robot again multiple times on my card base, all around the edges of the card. I wanted it to look like there were a few friendly robots peeking in to say "hi". I colored them all with my Prismacolor pencils, and then in the bottom left corner where I left it blank of stamping, I blended on a little Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
I knew I wanted my fussy-cut robot to be adhered down in that bottom left corner, so adding a little color there would help him stand out.
I also added some of the words from the set to the robots I stamped, and with the little triangle stamp from the Birthday Wishes set, I added a few marks around each word.
Next, I punched a circle out of Vellum, and using the Alabaster White Pigment Ink, I stamped a pattern on it using the little spark or lightning image from the Birthday Wishes set, as well. Then, I adhered the robot that I fussy cut over the vellum, and tucked the "Happy Botday" sentiment in behind him using a strip of black cardstock that I embossed on using the Alabaster White Embossing Powder.
I then took the whole card panel I built and adhered it down onto the white cardstock card base, leaving a little white edge around the sides.
This turned out to be such a fun card and I can think of a few people that I'd love to send it to!
