Happy New Year Card | Cards With Ashley

Hello everyone! It's Ashley here today with a fun card to celebrate the new year! I started out this card by taking a piece of Raven cardstock and prepping it for embossing with a powder tool. I placed the Folkwave stencil over the paper and smooshed embossing ink onto it the transfer the design to the paper. I then embossed the design with Rainbow Sparkle embossing powder. You gotta have sparkle for the new year!!

Next I took the Number Die Set and cut out the numbers out of white glitterstock paper. I glued those numbers to the middle of my black background with liquid glue.

I stamped a sentiment from the Super Sentimental stamp set on black cardstock and embossed it with Alabaster embossing powder. I fussy cut the sentiment out with the fussy cutting scissors.

I popped up the panel onto a card base with foam tape. Next I popped up the word hello over the numbers. I added some silver and white twine around the space underneath the numbers.

To finish up the card I added Wink of Stella glitter the the hello sentiment. I also added a dashed line around the edge of the black panel with a white gel pen. Finally I added a mixture of sequins with liquid glue.
