Hello!
Hi and welcome back! I had so much fun using the ink swooshing technique to make this cute card. I thought the So Emotional and the Super Sentimental stamps sets were perfect for this card as it seems we all have a lot to say these days, but have to say it virtually at the moment. Saying "hello and I'm thinking about you, is so important to keep spirits up. Do you feel the same? I hope that a little fun-filled card will brighten someone's day today. I would love to know what creative things you have been up to?
For this card I started out with an aqua paper panel and used the ink swooshing technique with both Distress Oxide and Distress inks. I stamped my emoji's from the So Emotional set and sentimental from the Super Sentimental set with Raven Detail ink. I added a little baker's twine bow to the emoji strip, because I think there should be a little pop of red (pink) in every card to draw interest.
If you are new to ink swooshing, you can use a piece of acyrllic packaging and apply a little ink and mist with water. From there dab you paper in the ink and heat set it(or air dry). You can then go back as many times as necessary, drying between each application to obtain your desired look. I try to go for at least 3 colors in the same family to obtain the depth.
