Hello Friend Mixed Media Card/Nicole Martel

Hello Friend Mixed Media Card/Nicole Martel

Good morning friends! I've been playing with the Simply Sweet dies (BRU8347) and it's been so much fun! I played with a variety of mediums, too!

First, I used a blending brush to blend some turquoise and red ink on the A2 Card panel.

Then, I placed the card on the sticky mat inside my Misti. Once everything was held down in place, I used a palette knife to pull the Red Chroma Glaze through the stencil.

Next, I carefully lifted the stencil and let it dry.

Here is what the panel looks like after it's dry.

I used my Sizzix to punch the dies from the card to create some cool images! I used up almost every little scrap...moving the dies over the areas to make the most of it.

Here's what they look like after they were all cut. I added the Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze to each piece to add some shimmer.

Once the Glitter Glaze was completely dry, I glued the pieces down on the A2 panel. I used foam squares to add dimension. Then, I mounted the panel onto the A2 Card Base.

I created the "Hello" sentiment by smearing the Teal Taffy Velveteen Glaze onto white cardstock and running it through the Sizzix Machine with the metal die once it was completely dry. It looks like enamel once dry! So cool.

I added some sequins, ribbon, and a conversation clipping to complete the card. I added a black border using a ruler and black pen.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope I inspired you today!
