Hello Sunshine
Good Day Folks,
I want to share a Spring card I made using the March Stamp Club stamp. I am such a big fan of the Stamp Club! I love the concept of a small stamp coming each month for an all in price of $5. I let my imagination go and try to come up with a unique use of the stamp set. This month I used several elements to help make the focal stamp shine.
Starting with a tag, I used the background stamp from We R Memory Keepers to create a Spring like background. I then stamped the sentiment from the Stamp Club set onto the tag in Raven Detail Ink. The tulips were stamped' cut out and colored using Style File Markers and colored pencils to highlight the image. I then stamped and colored the pot to place the flowers into. Using coordinating patterned paper I cut a fish tail banner to anchor the flower pot. I used Brutus Monroe spray ink to dye the ribbon at toe top of the tag to coordinate with the card.
Finally, I assembled the card by using foam tape to add dimension when adding the tag and layered the alabaster layer onto the card base. As is my style, I added a few sequins to add a little bling and the card was completed. I feel this card has made the Stamp Club focal stamp the star!
We would love for you to share with us how you use the Stamp Club stamp at Brutus Monroe Facebook Fan Page.
Enjoy, Spring is almost here!
