Holiday Watercoloring Made Easy!
Welcome Crafters, and Thanks for Stopping By!
Do you love to color, but need some forgiveness? Watercoloring gives you the color you need, but lets you color outside of the lines. Watercoloring is organic, it lets you flow with the water! And to make your project even easier, start out with the Brutus Monroe Pre-Printed Watercolor Panels - Holiday and the Brutus Monroe Aqua Pigments . Now, take your favorite water brush and let's get started!
After the watercoloring is done and the panel is dry, use your favorite matting or frame dies, to place your panel unto. I used a frame die to die-cut red glitter paper, and a mat die to die-cut black cardstock.
Once the die-cut pieces are cut, adhere the black mat to a white card base (A6 size, 4.5 x 6.25"); the final card was cut to be 5.75" in length. Then adhere the frame to the watercolor panel and place adhesive foam on the back of the framed panel to give a little dimension. Next, adhere the framed watercolor panel on the black mat. Time for a holiday sentiment! Use your favorite holiday sentiment and stamp it to the watercolor card panel. I used the sentiment from the Brutus Monroe Oh Deer stamp set, and to add a bit of sparkle, I embossed it using the Brutus Monroe Fairy Dust Embossing Powder.
