How to Decorate Envelopes
Have you wondered How to Decorate Envelopes? Today I will share a fun way to share a little joy on an envelope. When you spend a lot of time on a work of art, why not make a fun envelope to let the receiver know that there is something good inside?
Using the new Happy Mail Stamps from Brutus Monroe, Detail Ink - Raven and a few other supplies create some super cool envelopes.
Supplies used:
Envelopes
Happy Mail Stamp Set
Botanical Background Stamp
Brutus Monroe Rouge Ink
Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven
Summer Chalk Shimmer Sprays
Protape - Artists Tape
MISTI
Cut pieces of the Artists Tape and place in the To and From areas on the envelope.
Ink Botanical Background stamp with Brutus Monroe Rouge Ink and stamp envelope a couple of times. Don't worry if you don't get a good impression. This is just for decorative purposes.
Spray Envelope with Sea Chalk Shimmer Spray. Dry with heat tool.
Place envelope in MISTI. Position Happy Mail Stamps, ink with Brutus Monroe Detail Ink - Raven. Stamp envelope.
Alternate look: Spray envelope with Sea and Sage Chalk Shimmer spray, stamp in the same manner.
Another idea is to create a watercolor background using ink pads and water. This technique will wrinkle the envelope. The details can be seen in this video.
