January Stamp Club - A Not So Scary Birthday Card
Hello, everyone Nadine here today!
The January Stamp Club Set is soooo cute! The little monster can be used for birthday projects combined with the sentiments that come in the set. I can also see this cute little guy on some Valentine's project too. For my project today, I decided to go with a birthday theme and use the fun "Birthdays Are Scary!" sentiment.
I stamped the little monster with the Raven Detail Ink and colored him in with Copic markers.
For the background, I used a piece of photo paper and then randomly sprayed the three different colors that come in the Liquid Elements Spray Bundle onto the paper and then used a heat tool to dry them.
Check out the amazing shimmer these Liquid Elements Sprays give!
After the sprays had dried, I layered the background onto a black piece of cardstock and then adhered it to a card base. I cut a banner and stamped the sentiment "Birthdays Are Scary!" that comes in the January Stamp Club Set using the Alabaster Pigment Ink.
Then I adhered the banner to the card with some 3D foam squares, fussy cut out my little monster friend and doubled up some 3D foam squares under him, so he stood up on my card even higher.
After my card was all together, I decided it needed something else. So I took the star stamp from the January Stamp Club Set and stamped it a few times onto the background with the Raven Detail Ink and then colored it in with a black Copic marker.
Thank you so much for visiting! I hope I inspired you to give it a try and make sure to check out the Stamp Club. You don't want to miss out on it! Each month's set is ONLY $5 and that includes shipping and handling.
