July Release- Fall and Holiday Stamps

July's release is all about Fall and Holiday stamps! There are so many fun new stamps this month that will give you a head start on those Christmas cards, Halloween projects, and just everyday crafting. Let's take a look at some of these fun stamps!

This first card is created using the AUTUMN THANKS stamp set. This set has a number of beautiful leaf and fall images, including a few acorns and a pumpkin. The ones you see here on the card are colored in with Prismacolor pencils, and a few of them have some GILDED EMBOSSING POWDER on just the tips. The sentiment is also embossed in Gilded, and to finish it off, a few sparkling BOTTLE CAP SEQUINS were added.

This next stamp set is called DREAMCATCHING. Not only is this a fun fall set, but it would also be perfect for all year round. I created this card by starting with a watercolor background and layering some cardstock pieces in front. The sentiment is embossed in some more Gilded Embossing Powder, and then I added the fox and feathers that I stamped, colored, and fussy cut. Along with the fox and feather images, there is also a dreamcatcher image and a few other tribal inspired stamps.

This next card combines two stamp sets. The background is stamped with a 6x6 background stamp called PINE AND BERRY. I stamped this image and colored it in with Prismacolor pencils. Then, for the sentiment, I stamped and embossed it in Gilded embossing powder on a strip of vellum and layered it over the background. This sentiment is from another new set that has a variety of holiday sentiments. The card base is some RED CARDSTOCK that Brutus Monroe now has in store, as well.

This fun GINGERBREAD set is so much fun to play with! For this card, I stamped the gingerbread house along with a few of the gingerbread men, colored them in, and created a fun snowy scene with them. The sentiment is also part of the stamp set, and is stamped with some DETAIL INK. The snowflake background is Brutus Monroe's new SNOWFLAKE STENCIL that I used along with some ALABASTER PIGMENT INK on kraft cardstock.

This next card is created with another of the new 6x6 background stamps, TANGLED ORNAMENTS. This one is a gorgeous image full of fun zentangle-style ornaments. It would be great as a coloring image, but I used it here to stamp, emboss, and ink blend on. For the blended colors, I used WAGON and JURASSIC. I also added some Nuvo drops around on the background for a little dimension and visual interest. The sentiment is embossed in ALABASTER WHITE EMBOSSING POWDER, and is from the new MERRY AND BRIGHT sentiment stamp set.

This last card is so much fun, it has become one of my favorites from the July Release. I used the new BUILD A SNOWMAN stamp set to stamp the snowman and hid tie and glasses. I colored them in and built a fun tropical theme around the snowman. There are also a number of other fun hats and scarves in this set that you can use to dress up your snowman any way you want which makes this set perfect for holiday or any day!
