Hi all!
I'm Verity from Pretty Little Button and I still can't believe I was chosen to be on the Brutus Monroe Inspiration team! Today is my first post up on the blog and I am so excited to share this card with you! This card was created with just one stamp set. You heard that right! Only one stamp set is needed, so it's great if you are just starting out in cardmaking! However, although it is just one stamp set, isn't it such a beautiful set! Card details:
I trimmed a piece of white card down to 5" 1/4 by 4" and stamped the beautiful and detailed bike two thirds of the way down the card, offset to one side. This was stamped in Raven detail ink.
I stamped another bike on a scrap piece of white paper. I don't have any masking paper, but needed to create a mask. So, I used re-positional tape to keep my DIY mask in place for stamping.
Once I created a mask, I repeatedly stamped the sentiment 'Just Keep Pedaling' in Hayride Premium Surface Ink. The mask made sure I didn't detract from all the detail in the bike by stamping over it! The final sentiment was stamped in Raven ink to one side of the bike.
The card design was foam mounted onto a Kraft card base and finished off with some sequins and clean nuvo drops.
